Client specific rules: Week 8

  1. PROOFREAD EVERYTHING. Everything! One “admitted” instead of a “denied” on an answer can be serious trouble. One appearance on behalf of the wrong party can be a more than a massive headache. Yes, we’re busy, and yes, we’ve done these things a thousand times, but proofread them. Will a typo here or there destroy your case? Probably not, but you never know. Plus, slowing down long enough to proofread your documents may allow you to take the time to come with your next brilliant plan of action, or refine the one you’re working on now.
