Client specific rules: Week 6

  1. BE DILIGENT. Another great source of grievances is the requirement that the lawyer act diligently and promptly. We all know that requirement is different depending on the type of case. But your conduct has to be reasonable under the circumstances. You must meet deadlines, or get appropriate extensions. You must do the work you said you would, when you said you would. If you will take longer than expected, let the client know! If you are having trouble figuring out what to do, ask for help. But get the work done.
